This was a virtual run that I completed in my neighborhood.
Doing virtual runs are fun, because you can run anywhere, anytime for any distance you want….but at the same time, they can be a little boring.
If you need the people and the big finish line to motivate you, then a virtual run isn’t going to be something you enjoy…However, if a solitude run, in your neighborhood, at your own pace AND for WAY less money … is more your speed then virtual running is the way to go for you!
For me…I enjoy an organized run because the people motivate me, it feels like your a part of something bigger than yourself and it’s a whole lot of fun!
However, I also have a passion for Bling, Tinkerbell, Saving Money and helping a great charity so … this virtual run was a must do for me 🙂
The best part about a virtual run is you could run an organized event earning their medal while at the same time earning your virtual medal or you could run in your local park or gym.
As an added bonus this virtual run was for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada and the came from a province I haven’t ran in before, Quebec. 🙂
