Night of the Glow – 6.4 K

Once Every Four Years

Leap Day Run

This was my birthday gift from Laurie, she found and planned every detail of this run!

I worked half the day, so when she picked me up from work I was over the moon excited!

We headed to the states for this once every four year event!!

It was about 4 hours from home, but was so worth it!

The park was really dark with the exception of a million glowing sticks and lights from all the runners! It looked so cool!

Night runs are harder than morning runs, only because it is late in the day when you are already tired … add that to the cold and wind, makes this a tough run for sure.

My time wasn’t the best but not bad for only my third run of the year.

We received a glow in the dark finisher medal.

It was a tough one, but we pulled through side by side 🙂
