Thank Goodness I have more than one runner in my life!!
This run was originally scheduled for My husband, John and myself to complete, however, he was called into work at the last minute, so Laurie filled in 🙂 Thank Goodness!
John and I wanted to participate in this run because the Salvation Army is a charity that is very near and dear to both of our hearts.
John and I started with very humble beginnings, and it was the Salvation Army that helped us in our most desperate times. From food vouchers to Christmas Hampers for our Children. They were always there with a helping hand.
John and I have never forgotten their open arms that were always extended for us whenever we needed help.
This run was our way of giving back and saying Thank you for all that the Salvation Army does throughout the year to help so many people.
What a wonderful morning!!
The run opened with Christmas Music played by the Salvation Army band..So beautiful and a perfect way to start our Santa Shuffle 5K!
This was a small inexpensive run located in Guelph. The medal was a snowflake 🙂
There was about 50 runners in attendance. Not a timed event but a whole lot of fun anyway!
Now if it would only SNOW!!! Then we would really be in the Spirit!
